MBSE Systems Engineer

Job description

We are working on an EOI for our client, who is seeking a Sydney-based Systems Engineer, MBSE Specialist. Candidates will be working on a new product development project. The project is working on an electro-optic sensor product design. The candidate will create a full MBSE model for the product and provide monthly updates of the model with the customer under a co-development framework. They will also be involved in solution architecture, trade studies, Integration and Test, and flight trials.

Role:

  • Work with a new product
  • Develop the MBSE plan
  • Provide oversight and approve technical approaches
  • Develop Systems Architecture
  • Collaborate with internal SMEs
  • Define modelling needs
  • Lead V&V and testing
  • Manage systems integration
  • Facilitate technical communications for cross-functional teams
  • Lead complex requirements management
  • CONOPS development
  • Develop cross-functional skills in Systems engineering

About you:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Electronics, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry
  • Experience with MBSE tools such as Cameo MagicDraw or DOORS
  • Experience with software development lifecycle and integration with systems engineering processes
  • Proficiency in developing and managing complex system requirements
  • Must have systems engineering focused on system architecting, requirements development, and interface management
  • Must hold a current AGSVA clearance
