We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to lead the software aspect of a mission-critical, cross domain solution for defence and other industries.
This role spans across software engineering, systems engineering, and technical leadership, you'll own the full software lifecycle - from interpreting ASDEFCON-aligned requirements to delivering secure, robust, and verifiable C/C++ solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end development in C/C++, from design, test, delivery and release
- Interpret customer specs to define software requirements
- Design secure, scalable, and testable software architectures
- Build and document reliable software communication systems
- Develop test cases and software using C/C++ and Python
- Deliver complete release artefacts (binaries, docs, traceability)
About You:
- Senior-level experience in embedded or systems-level C/C++ development
- Strong understanding of systems engineering and secure software practices
- Confident owning and delivering critical software components
- Familiar with ASDEFCON, continuous integration, and Linux systems
- Eligible for NV1 clearance & ITAR compliance (Australian Citizen)
