We're supporting a Defence consultancy with multiple contract opportunities contributing to major maritime capability programs.

They're seeking an experienced Structural Engineers with a background in naval or marine engineering to support structural design and analysis across complex defence platforms.

There are opportunities available across VIC, SA and WA.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design across maritime defence platforms, including naval vessels and associated structures
• Contribute to design, verification and integration activities within a multidisciplinary engineering environment
• Ensure compliance with relevant Australian standards and Defence engineering frameworks
• Prepare detailed technical reports, calculations and design documentation
• Provide engineering support during build, integration and commissioning phases

About You

• Degree qualified in Naval, Mechanical or Structural Engineering (or similar)
• 5+ years' experience in structural engineering, ideally within maritime or naval environments
• Strong experience with FEA tools
• Solid understanding of structural analysis and design principles
• Prior experience working on Defence programs highly regarded
• Strong communication skills and ability to work within complex, regulated environments
