System Administrator (Linux) - TSPV/TSPA

Permanent vacancy - target annual salary package of between $160k and $180k plus bonuses
Canberra or Melbourne based positions - fully on-site roles

Kinexus has partnered with a large system integrator providing services and capability to defence and the national intelligence community. We are searching for System Administrators with skills in Linux administration and engineering to deliver on a large program of work set to begin in May/June 2026. In this role you will provide system maintenance and build services to a defence intelligence agency currently undergoing a large ICT transformation program.

In this role you will provide L2/L3 incident response for complex infrastructure issues, manage virtual environments and physical infrastructure and manage application packaging and deployment activities.

This role requires you to hold an active or reinstatable TSPV/TSPA security clearance up front, with further suitability checks to be done upon offer.

What's required to succeed in this role:

• Active or reinstatable TSPV/TSPA security clearance.
• Previous experience managing and administering mission-critical ICT infrastructure and systems in a high-side environment.
• Expertise in managing on-premise Linux systems.
• Skills in viritual server and applications management.
• Skills in scripting languages.
