Formerly known as Kinetic Recruitment, we've been operating for more than two decades and turned 25 in 2026. We've grown alongside the industries we support, working with Commonwealth agencies, primes and SMEs across long-running programs and emerging initiatives.

The team behind the work
Kinexus is a team effort - recruiters, operations staff and leaders work closely together to support candidates and clients. Everyone plays a role in ensuring people feel informed, supported and valued throughout the process. Some of us come from recruitment. Others have backgrounds in Defence, technology, engineering, operations or people-focused roles. Experience matters, but what matters more is how we work with people.
Beyond recruitment
Kinexus is also the founder and administrator of The Future Through Collaboration (TFTC), a cross-industry mentoring program supporting the retention and progression of women across Defence and industry.
The program was created in partnership with founding organisations that recognised a shared workforce challenge and wanted to address it collectively. Since its 2015 launch, TFTC has supported more than 650 participants and continues to grow through strong industry engagement.
