Software engineers, naval architects, ILS and specialist technicians are in high demand and have experienced salary increases.
The demand for project management and support skills has softened, with these skills seeing salary stagnation. This is especially the case in the above-the-line subsector, where hiring among Professional Service Providers has been impacted by the government-wide push to reduce the number of consultants being used.
