About the Women's Defence Networking Alliance

Our story

A Kinexus initiative, the Women’s Defence Networking Alliance emerged from a desire to create a dedicated space for meaningful connection for women in defence industry. The intention is to provide access to refreshing, practical and valuable support to help this community thrive in their careers and achieve their goals.

As women in defence industry ourselves, we intend to evolve the WDNA with input from our participating community. We aim to facilitate a range of networking opportunities, educational and (not too far off) in-person events that bring women in defence industry together and deliver what they most need.

Through strength of community and a willingness to support one another, we seek to lift the profile of women in the defence sector – strengthening capability, increasing influence and ensuring better representation at the senior management level.

We encourage women in the defence sector to come together to own it, evolve, laugh and share. Together we can achieve so much.

Beat Self-Doubt and Tame Your Inner Critic

Join the WDNA team for the next webinar in our Lunch & Learn series.

Constantly second guessing yourself?

Worrying that you said the wrong thing?

Wondering what it'll take to get past that negative self-talk?

On 1st June we welcome Fiona Pearman from Core Confidence as we unpack self-doubt and negative self-talk. Fiona has walked in our shoes and helped hundreds of women how to right size our inner critic and silence that voice in our head.

From discharging from the ADF, to changing industries, to seeking a promotion, making a career transition can come with significant challenges and rewards.
