About the Women's Defence Networking Alliance

Our story

A Kinexus initiative, the Women’s Defence Networking Alliance emerged from a desire to create a dedicated space for meaningful connection for women in defence industry. The intention is to provide access to refreshing, practical and valuable support to help this community thrive in their careers and achieve their goals.

As women in defence industry ourselves, we intend to evolve the WDNA with input from our participating community. We aim to facilitate a range of networking opportunities, educational and (not too far off) in-person events that bring women in defence industry together and deliver what they most need.

Through strength of community and a willingness to support one another, we seek to lift the profile of women in the defence sector – strengthening capability, increasing influence and ensuring better representation at the senior management level.

We encourage women in the defence sector to come together to own it, evolve, laugh and share. Together we can achieve so much.
