Role Overview
A large organisation is seeking up to three Senior Business Analysts to support the delivery of a major Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) program as part of a broader technology transformation.
Key initiatives include:
Market approach, selection, and implementation of a new ERP platform
Process redesign and business transformation
Data migration, cleansing, and validation
Legacy system transition and cloud enablement
Integration with enterprise systems and digital platforms
This role will work closely with business leaders, technical teams, and delivery partners to ensure the ERP solution meets operational and strategic needs.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Requirements
Work autonomously across multiple workstreams within the ERP program
Engage with diverse stakeholders to elicit, analyse, and document business and functional requirements
Translate business needs into clear functional specifications for ERP configuration and development
Map current and future-state business processes aligned to ERP capabilities
Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation
Solution Design & Delivery Support
Support selection and design of ERP modules (e.g. finance, HR, procurement, supply chain, CRM)
Collaborate with delivery teams, vendors, and integrators
Support development of work breakdown structures, schedules, and cost estimates
Contribute to solution acceptance criteria, UAT planning, and test strategy
Support data migration planning, cleansing, reconciliation, and validation
Stakeholder & Governance Support
Present options analysis and recommendations to senior stakeholders
Support enterprise investment and digital planning processes
Champion innovative and efficient business solutions aligned to strategy
Skills and Experience Required
Tertiary qualifications and/or minimum 3+ years' experience as a Business Analyst using structured methodologies in enterprise environments
Demonstrated experience on large technology or ERP programs
Strong experience in requirements elicitation, process modelling, and solution design
Experience working in Agile, Scrum, or hybrid delivery environments
Exposure to platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Dynamics 365 or similar ERP systems is highly desirable
Experience in data migration, system integration, or transformation programs is highly regarded
Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and presentation skills
