We are seeking a highly skilled Combat Systems Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, integration, and testing of advanced combat systems for naval, land, or air platforms. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure system performance, reliability, and mission success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and integrate combat systems, including radar, sonar, electronic warfare, and weapon control systems.
- Conduct system analysis, modeling, and simulation to optimize performance.
- Develop and execute test plans to validate system functionality and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to combat systems.
- Work closely with software, mechanical, and electrical engineers to ensure seamless system integration.
- Support lifecycle management, upgrades, and modernization efforts for combat systems.
- Ensure compliance with military and industry standards.
- Prepare technical documentation, reports, and system specifications.
- Provide technical support for fielded systems and participate in on-site installations and testing.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience in combat systems engineering, Defence technology, or a related industry.
- Proficiency in system design, integration, and testing methodologies.
- Knowledge of radar, sonar, weapons control, and electronic warfare systems.
- Experience with software and hardware development processes.
- Familiarity with military standards and Defence acquisition processes.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Security clearance or eligibility to obtain one (if required).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with combat system architectures and platforms.
- Familiarity with simulation and modeling tools.
- Experience with embedded systems and real-time processing.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles in Defence applications.
