About The Role

This is not a traditional supply chain or warehouse management role. Instead, it sits within a highly collaborative sales and integration office environment, supporting complex, project-based programs for government and defence customers. The role blends logistics leadership, facilities oversight, export compliance and stakeholder engagement.

Reporting into global operations and working closely with local leadership, you will lead a small team and take ownership of logistics, facilities operations, warehousing, and export activities at the Sydney site, while contributing to regional and global initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a small facilities and logistics team supporting APAC operations

  • Manage day-to-day logistics and facilities operations, including building maintenance, renovations, and upgrades

  • Oversee warehousing, transportation, shipping and export compliance activities

  • Develop, implement and maintain processes and procedures across logistics and facilities

  • Manage vendors, trades, landlords and service providers

  • Coordinate building projects in line with global capital programs

  • Monitor stock levels, quality inspections, delivery performance and costs

  • Ensure compliance with HSE, security, ISO and government regulations

  • Maintain metrics, analyse performance data and drive continuous improvement

  • Act as local HSE representative and support risk assessments and mitigation activities

  • Provide logistics and export support to other regions as required

About You

  • Proven experience as a Logistics Manager or in a similar operations-focused role

  • Strong background in distribution, logistics and export controls

  • Demonstrated people leadership experience

  • Excellent organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to manage multiple projects independently

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience maintaining ISO accreditations

  • Exposure to SAP S/4HANA (desirable)

  • Forklift licence (or willingness to obtain)

  • First aid training (desirable)

Additional Requirements

  • This is an onsite role - own transport is required

  • Must be an Australian Citizen

  • Must hold or be eligible to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance to NV1

All applications should include your resume as a word document.
