Our client is seeking a motivated Electronics Technician to fulfil a position within a highly renowned Defence electronics maintenance company. You will play a vital in providing long-term support and maintenance services to Defence clients and capabilities. Are you ready to take on this career changing opportunity?
ABOUT THE COMPANY
Our client is a world leading Defence partner providing engineering support and platform integration services to Defence. They work across maritime, land and aerospace systems.
This will be an exciting opportunity for any Ex-Defence Electronics Technician.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assemble, test, and maintain electronic components and systems.
- Diagnose and repair electronic malfunctions in a variety of devices.
- Perform routine maintenance and calibration of electronic equipment.
- Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals to understand and address technical issues.
- Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to develop and improve electronic systems.
- Document and report on all repairs, tests, and maintenance performed.
SKILLS & EXPERINECE NEEDED
- Ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance to NV1.
- Trade Qualifications in Electronics, Communications or Avionics
- Experience and understanding within the Defence industry
- A Navy Electronics Technician or an Electronics Technician who specialised in communications would be ideal
