About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Mechanical AME, to join a highly experienced and motivated team in Brisbane. The role is in support of high-level defence and commercial initiatives in the maintenance and repairs of gas turbines engines and propulsion systems. This is a critical role to help support the warfighter and their ability to perform their tasks effectively in the defence of the nation.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth maintenance on engines and components per approved documentation.
- Complete personal timesheets and job logs accurately.
- Perform Foreign Object Debris (FOD) checks and tool control procedures.
- Maintain personal tools and equipment in serviceable condition.
- Ensure traceability of personal tools and equipment.
- Complete and certify relevant documentation in line with airworthiness regulations.
- Operate company machinery and tooling following regulatory procedures and guidelines.
- Assist in the final packaging and release of aviation products.
Qualifications
- Certificate IV in mechanical - Aerospace
- Must be compliant to DASR/EASR regulations
- A track record in gas turbine maintenance and repairs
- Experienced with tracking repairable items
- Must hold a current AGSVA NV1 clearance or ability to obtain
Candidates must have a traceable history in the maintenance and repairs of at least one engine type to be considered. Our client is a front runner in engineering maintenance and a strong culture of safety and compliance.
