ABOUT THIS ROLE
Our client is seeking a motivated field service representative to provide requirements, design, verification, and validation focusing on radio communication systems and the Defence Aerospace sector. You will play a vital role in providing on-site technical support, troubleshooting, and training for Defence contracts and serve as the primary point of contact for clients. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver on-site technical assistance and troubleshooting for radio communications and avionics systems.
- Support program testing activities and collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure testing meets their requirements,
- Working closely with the technical and system engineering team
- Act as the main contact for Defence clients.
- Oversee project activities, including installation, configuration, testing, and maintenance.
- Conduct training sessions for end-users.
- Collaborate with internal teams to achieve project objectives.
SKILLS & EXPERINECE NEEDED
- Ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance to NV1.
- Australian Citizenship is required.
- Degree or Certificate IV in Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Must have relevant experience in field service engineering in the Defence sector.
- Experience and understanding of radio communication and avionics systems such as HF, Tactical Radios and/or military GPS systems.
- Strong interpersonal skills for communicating
- Experience in handling multiple projects.
- Willing to travel domestically and internationally.
