Due to the nature of clients we work with here at Kinexus and the projects these roles will be based on, an Australian Government Top Secret Positive Vetting (TSPV) clearance is essential.
These opportunities do not have the ability to obtain sponsorship for a security clearance (including applicants who currently hold a security clearance seeking to upgrade).
ABOUT THIS ROLE
The L&D Analyst will undertake training needs analysis, design and development of training programs and materials and or specify learning material, training tools and systems for vendors to develop training resources. They will contribute to the design and implementation of stakeholder communication plans and information products. They will undertake business activities required to integrate the new training systems into the "business as usual" (BAU) environment. They will determine the readiness levels of business users concerning training requirements. They will provide oversight of vendor conducted training needs analysis and plan, manage and adjust work priorities to meet the training objectives, keep others informed and apply a best practice systems training approach. They will monitor workflow and manage resources to achieve agreed outcomes.

Working arrangements: ACT, 5 days a week in the office. Candidates must be willing to undergo ASD's Organisational Suitability Assessment (OSA) prior to engagement. Candidates required to have PV clearance.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Undertake training needs analysis to develop training solutions to be designed and delivered in-house or by vendors to a required business standard.
- Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders on the design, development and delivery of learning and development services.
- Develop, implement and maintain supporting training documentation policies and processes on the capability and ensure all training material is classified appropriately.
- Contribute to the design and development and transition to BAU of learning solutions including e-learning solutions in a way that is sensitive to and fully compatible with business operations.
- Contributes to the development and implementation of stakeholder communication plans and preparation of information products. Regularly communicate progress of work with stakeholders, enabling teams and business areas.
- Share own expertise with others, guide and mentor less experienced employees, and work collaboratively to achieve business outcomes.
- Build and sustain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve business outcomes and resolve problems.
- Adhere to documentation standards and procedures and configuration control standards.
- Conduct Systems information content authoring duties.
- Manage the training resources in order to plan, estimate and carry out programs of solution development work to time, budget and quality targets and in accordance with appropriate standards, methods and procedures.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Knowledge of e-learning systems principles and best practice.
- Knowledge of the design of competency based training and accreditation programs
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE NEEDED
- Manages the provision of learning and development, ensuring optimum use of resources. Maintains, publicises and promotes catalogue of learning and development activities. Ensures that courses are up to date and accredited (when required). Arranges facilities and schedules with learning and development.
- Specifies the content and structure of learning and development materials. Takes responsibility for design, creation, packaging and maintenance and manages development to deliver agreed outcomes. Where required, designs, configures and tests learning environments, including population of simulated databases, and replication of external systems, interfaces, and assessment systems. Secures external accreditations as appropriate.
- Plans and schedules the delivery of learning activities, based on learning objectives. Manages the delivery of programmes of learning. Customises formal and informal learning activities, incorporating relevant business scenarios and case studies. Designs appropriate environments, and delivers learning activities to specialist Audiences. Advises/coaches others in learning delivery techniques and options.
- Identifies the communications needs of each stakeholder group in conjunction with business owners and subject matter experts. Translates communications / stakeholder engagement strategies into specific tasks. Facilitates open communication and discussion between stakeholders, acting as a single point of contact by developing, maintaining and working to stakeholder engagement strategies and plans. (For example, may oversee the organisation's promotional/selling activities to one or more clients, to ensure that such activities are aligned with corporate marketing objectives). Negotiates with stakeholders at senior levels, ensuring that organisational policy and strategies are adhered to. Provides informed feedback to assess and promote understanding.
