Are you a skilled Logistics Coordinator with a passion for precision and a knack for keeping maintenance operations running smoothly? Our client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented professional to support critical maintenance and repair tasks for a key Navy capability.

About the Role:

As a Logistics Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that all necessary materials are identified, requisitioned, and delivered on time, ready for issue to production. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Material Management: Identify, requisition, and kit materials and parts essential for maintenance activities, supporting the planning and scheduling processes.
  • Inspection and Reporting: Conduct receipt inspections, manage goods receipting of materials, and report deficiencies, ensuring accurate updates in the ERP system.
  • Support and Coordination: Assist in building Task Material Lists for various tasks, raise requisitions for procurement, and support the Project Manager in monitoring progress and addressing urgent part demands.
  • Compliance and Safety: Adhere to WHSE regulations, exercise due diligence in maintaining safety standards, and support the mission of delivering effective asset management.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Technical/Logistics Expertise: qualification in a logistics or maintenance environment, with relevant experience in coordinating parts and materials.
  • ERP Proficiency: Proven skills in working with ERP systems such as SAP and experience with Navy maintenance management processes.
  • Strong Interpersonal Skills: Ability to communicate effectively and build positive relationships across all levels of the business.
  • Autonomy and Initiative: Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously, deliver results under pressure, and make sound decisions.
  • Security Clearance: Must have an active BASELINE clearance or higher to be eligible for this role.
