A leading Defence consultancy with a national presence is seeking multiple Modelling and Simulation Engineers for contract roles in the Aerospace and EW Domains. These positions involve Systems Modelling, Software Modelling and Simulation, Verification & Validation (V&V), and model integration for Defence platform systems and sub-systems.
Candidates with experience in Defence, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or Software Engineering are encouraged to apply. We welcome both mid-level and senior professionals.
These positions are expected to commence in December or January, depending on availability and processing timelines. Contracts will run until EOFY initially.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and test mathematical models for Naval or Air platform systems and sub-systems.
- Integrate MATLAB/Simulink models into custom simulation environments (C++) and test integration outcomes.
- Review simulation results, providing guidance and support tools.
- Design and conduct tests to validate individual models and the overall system.
- Create detailed documentation, including report writing and presenting results.
- Develop new models and execute existing ones using various software tools.
- Plan, integrate, and test the model integration process, including defining steps and documenting results.
Requirements:
- Experience working on Defence platform systems or related applications.
- Strong background in modelling and simulation, software development, or numerical analysis.
- Familiarity with MATLAB/Simulink, C++, and modern simulation tools.
- Understanding of Radar and Electromagnetic technologies
- Experience with CUDA
- Proficient in both Windows and Linux development environments.
- NV1 security clearance or higher.
