Our client is seeking a skilled Principal V&V Engineer with a strong systems engineering background, to lead systems design, requirements development, and V&V activities across complex defence projects. You'll play a key role in shaping product development procedures, guiding stakeholders, and ensuring solutions meet performance and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive end-to-end systems engineering activities: requirements, architecture, trade studies, risk analysis and system modelling.
- Develop and maintain system and interface specifications.
- Lead V&V planning, estimate V&V effort, and support integration, verification and validation activities.
- Contribute to major design reviews (PDR, CDR, TRR).
- Identify technical risks and propose solutions.
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, contractors and customers.
About You
- Degree-qualified in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Communications, Mechatronics) or similar.
- Advanced skills in requirements management, technical solution development, integration and V&V activities.
- Proven experience writing and preparing V&V plans, procedures and troubleshooting in a product development environment.
- Proven ability to solve complex problems and work independently on high-impact tasks.
- Strong stakeholder communication and ability to influence at an operational level.
- Innovative and agile mindset.
