Our client is delivering a world class communications and information management system. Working in a safety critical environment, the key focus of this position is working alongside a highly motivated and dynamic team of Software, Electronic, Design and Systems Engineers.
The successful applicant will join the Senior Management Team, providing strategic leadership and advice on all engineering and capability issues relating to a new communications system for defence and federal agencies.
Experience Required:
- Ideally a degree in Project Management
- Experience in delivering of highly technical systems.
- Proven Project end to end experience and delivery
- Proven Stakeholder engagement and management
- Broad engineering experience base, preferably within Defence Aerospace Industry
- Able to manage dynamic and motivated teams
- Management of the Project Schedule
- A high level of ASDEFCON experience
- Coord work packages
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Business/budgetary experience or an appointment with P&L responsibilities
- Experience in Contract Management and Administration
- Applicant MUST be eligible for a Defence security clearance (Australian Citizen)
This position would ideally suit applicants with experience in complex automation and voice comms systems. Candidates with a strong background with extensive experience in demanding leadership and management appointments would suit this role. Managers with a high level of experience in purchasing and logistics , including purchasing should apply.
