Our client is a leading innovator in the realm of communications technology catering to diverse industries. They are eagerly seeking an accomplished Project Manger to spearhead the transition phase of one of their cutting edge products from initial low-level manufacturing, to mass production.
This role will require a seasoned professional with broad experience across project management, supply chain, risk mitigation, budgeting and more. The initial six-month contract provides the chance to engage with pioneering communication technology.
The successful candidate will benefit from the backing of a comprehensive team, comprising a diverse engineering ensemble and a seasoned Programme Manager.
Responsibilities
- Ensure that the designated project is planned, managed and executed in line with company standards.
- Managing project budgets, project profitability and reporting.
- Manage external and internal stakeholders including suppliers and subcontractors.
- Along with the Engineer Manager, plan and guide engineering resources.
- Engage in meticulous planning and estimation to create the WBS and project schedule
You will have:
- Proficiency in project management with relevant hands-on experience in Engineering/ Manufacturing environments.
- Demonstrated commitment to following processes and methodologies.
- Familiarity with multi-disciplinary engineering environments.
- Background in Mechanical/Electronics/Electrical Engineering ideal.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications
- A strong comfort level with the waterfall methodology.
