We are currently looking a RF Engineer to lead in designing, implementing, and maintaining electronic systems to Defence. In your role within the RF team, you'll collaborate closely with a group of exceptionally talented RF electronics engineers. Together, you'll tackle intricate design obstacles using state-of-the-art tools and software. This endeavour will push you to explore unconventional approaches and pioneer groundbreaking solutions.

  • Lead the design, development, and prototyping of innovative RF and microwave components, alongside electronic subsystems.
  • Conducting RF line-up budget calculations and leveraging sophisticated software packages for modelling and simulating RF and microwave circuits.
  • Conducting comprehensive qualification testing and meticulously documenting new products, encompassing crucial tasks like Antenna testing and EMI/EMC testing.
  • Engaging in the formulation of formal bids and quotations, showcasing your adeptness in navigating customer interactions, and presenting intricate design details during reviews.
  • Assiduously reviewing project schedules, ensuring alignment with financial parameters and deadlines.
  • Contributing to the manufacturing and testing processes of modules, ensuring adherence to rigorous quality standards.
  • Providing adept Engineering leadership to compact multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring seamless project delivery within stipulated timelines.
  • Upholding an unwavering commitment to product quality, while proactively suggesting enhancements to bolster customer satisfaction and drive cost efficiencies.


  • Ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance to NV1 and be ITAR compliant.
  • Australian Citizenship is required.
  • Must have Bachelor in Electronics/Electrical Engineering
  • Experience with RF modelling and simulation software packages.
  • Experience with software, such as Altium or equivalent.
  • Experience with hands on project development.
  • Experience collaborating with clients, adeptly deciphering project requirements
