We have a position available for an Electronics Technician to be based in the ACT. This is a key position on the team to support a diverse number of technologies in Defence, Government and Commercial areas.
Our client is seeking candidates with significant experience in modern digital communications systems including one or more of the following: From RADAR, SONAR, Combat Systems to Battlespace Land Communication domains. The BCS(L) networks include systems and communications assets associated with providing the networks and network services
The Role:
- Act as an SME in your trade stream
- Act as a POC for internal and external stakeholders
- Assist in learning and development, as well as a mentor for internal and external
- Identification, development, evaluation and recommendation of Installation, maintenance and repair of RF equipment
- Test and repair to the specified requirements
- Undertaker reliability assessments
- Provide subject matter expert advice
Experience Required:
- CERT IV in Electronics, or Electrical
- Experience in training and development
- Experience in maintenance and repair of RF technology
- Demonstrated ability to identify, resolve and manage technical issues
- Must hold a current NV1 security clearance
