We have a position available for an Electronics Technician with good RF technology experience, to be based in the ACT. This is a key position on the team to support a diverse number of technologies in Defence, Government and Commercial areas.
Our client is seeking candidates with significant experience in modern digital communications systems, including one or more of the following: From ISR, Avionics, RADAR, SONAR, Combat Systems to Battlespace Land Communication systems.
The Role:
- Act as an SME in your trade stream
- Act as a POC for internal and external stakeholders
- Assist in learning and development, as well as a mentor for internal and external
- Identification, development, evaluation and recommendation of Installation, maintenance and repair of RF equipment
- Identify project and product risks and escalate using defined processes
- Recommend or provide solutions through designated channels
- A level of technical expertise and the application of that knowledge
- Test and repair to the specified requirements
- Undertaker reliability assessments
- Provide subject matter expert advice
Experience Required:
- CERT IV in Electronics, or Electrical
- Experience in training and development
- Experience in maintenance and repair of RF technology
- Demonstrated ability to identify, resolve and manage Security issues
- Good understanding of technical standards relating to RF tech
- Experience in defence digital in-service systems
- Must hold a current NV1 security clearance
