The role involves working on high value strategic projects and contracts within Aerospace, Maritime and Land applications dealing with Commonwealth Agencies, SPO's and CASG with contacts right up to Director level.
Dealing with Capability Managers and Fleet Managers, this fast, dynamic and fluid environment requires an individual who can inspire confidence and communicate reliability at all levels. You will be responsible for contributing towards a national strategy liaising with customers throughout communicating your knowledge of the industry and solidifying their excellent reputation in this market.
Alliances with other Prime players in the market whilst totally committing and solidifying the supplier base ensuring all parties benefit from an already flourishing partnership.
Having proved they can thrive in these specialist areas, you will be able to deliver systems and products supported by highly technical Engineers and specialists within Electronics.
The Person
- Identify and convert business opportunities
- A traceable history in delivery
- A proven background in sales
- A minimum of 15 years of Business Development experience.
- Excellent communication skills and relationship development ability
- Thrive in developing existing markets as well as targeting new markets.
- Passionate about winning and developing new business.
- The ability to speak to senior decision-makers with confidence.
- Candidates will hold an AGSVA issued NV1 as a minimum
