Our client is a leading training and simulation organisation, that is increasing its support in the Joint Collective Training environment and needs to grow its team. The team is integrated as a trustworthy partner to build and develop the skills needed for current and future operations for the success needed in the battlespace.
The successful candidate will have the ability to influence, create, modify and develop simulation and training which will be used to help build the outcomes needed on the modern-day battlefield. The premise of the support is to make this training as real and accessible as possible.
Responsibilities
- Provide support to simulation delivery
- Integration of simulation and C2 applications
- Work collaboratively with the team to develop, test and integrate new software releases
- Assist in the configuration, management and sustainment of simulation systems
- Modify existing (COTS and GOTS) software packages
- Deploy to support the execution of simulation supported training events as part of the Technical Control (TECHON) or Simulation Control (SIMCON) elements
Skills & experience required
- Ideally have experience working in JOC or similar posting
- A collaborative communication style
- Experienced in Information Systems
- Hardware and Software remediation
- RedHat Linux experience
- Some HTML/CSS/JavaScript experience
- Applicants MUST hold Australian Citizenship and a current or reinstatable NV1 clearance.
Candidates with experience as Electronic Warfare or Combat System Operators are encouraged to apply. This role would suit members from any service (Army, Navy or RAAF). Candidates would Ideally have experience with common simulation standards (DIS, HLA, TENA)
