Kinexus are exclusively partnered with an innovative company based in Sydney in their search for a Software Engineering Team Lead position. Our client is designing and building a range of unique, autonomous and green products for the defence, civil and key public industries. They have began to embark on a fast-paced scaling journey as a number of key industries have taken interest in their main product.

In this role, you will act as the Team Lead for a software team of 5-10 people who are involved in building deployed solutions primarily built in C++ onto a Linux environment that sits within the main product. You will primarily provide leadership and manage the team, whilst also getting hands-on to review code and solve complex issues when needed. The team operates using agile and scrum methodologies, and works closely with other engineers in mechatronics.

Selection Criteria:

• Experience working within a software practice of a product based business.
• Experience leading software teams using agile and scrum methodologies, working at speed to solve issues.
• Experience building Linux deployed solutions built in C++, JavaScript or Python.
• Due to the industry, you must be an Australian citizen eligible for a security clearance.
