Join a key Australian engineering and manufacturing organisation delivering innovative solutions to the Defence sector. Our client is seeking a Supply Chain Coordinator to support Defence projects through effective estimation, tender preparation, and supply chain coordination.

The Role
In this dynamic role, you will prepare and submit quotations, proposals, and tenders for Defence-related projects, working closely with engineering, project, and commercial teams to deliver compliant and competitive bids. You'll play a key part in coordinating suppliers, estimating project costs, and driving value across the procurement process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and evaluate tender opportunities and manage bid documentation

  • Develop detailed cost estimates, pricing strategies, and delivery schedules

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to prepare compliant, high-quality proposals

  • Analyse technical documentation and supplier inputs to ensure accuracy and competitiveness

  • Coordinate supplier engagement, materials planning, and commercial negotiations

  • Support continuous improvement in supply chain performance and proposal efficiency

About You

  • Proven experience in supply chain, estimating, or proposal coordination within Defence, engineering, or manufacturing

  • Strong understanding of tender processes and proposal development

  • Excellent communication, analytical, and organisational skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

  • Australian Citizenship and ability to obtain a Defence security clearance
