We're supporting a cutting-edge Defence program based in South Australia. This early-phase project needs experienced Systems Engineers to help define and shape the technical direction from the outset.

In this research-based role, you'll support a team of engineers as they carry out a technical exploration related to a next-generation communications program. Your responsibilities will include gathering data, analysing technical inputs, and synthesising the team's findings into a comprehensive report to inform future system development.

* NV1 clearance (or higher) required
* September Start

The skills we are seeking:
* Strong background in systems engineering
* Experience in concept development, functional and physical architectures
* Requirements analysis and performance modelling
* Excellent analytical and research capabilities
* Confident in planning and documenting within project-based teams

The ideal candidate will have:
* Experience designing comms architectures
* Understanding of SATCOM and Tactical Data Links
* Knowledge of middleware and interoperability approaches
