Kinexus is a specialist recruiter in the Defence and Federal Government sector. For over 24 years, we have been connecting technical ICT and engineering professionals with opportunities across Australia. We are now looking to grow our experienced team in our head office, located in Sydney's CBD.

As an approved supplier to multiple government agencies, including Defence, Intelligence and National Security, we support projects at the forefront of new and emerging technologies, many requiring candidates with high-level security clearances.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a Trainee Recruiter to help source candidates for the wide range of projects we support. This is a candidate-focused role, working with both existing talent and new candidates through the many sourcing methods we use.

Responsibilities include:

  • Sourcing ICT and technology professionals for Defence and Intelligence roles
  • Identifying opportunities to engage with security-cleared ICT and Cyber candidates
  • Developing and managing long-term professional relationships
  • Building a strong social presence and developing your personal brand

What we're looking for:

  • A background in sales, call-centre, or any phone-based role - Recruitment experience NOT required
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with a wide range of people
  • A driven, results-focused individual who thrives in both team and independent settings
  • Someone motivated to achieve and exceed goals
