Our client is a technology leader supporting critical communications across defence and commercial sectors. They are expanding their local operations and seeking an experienced Logistics and Warehouse Manager to ensure their Sydney site operates safely and efficiently.
About the Role
You will lead a small team responsible for the facilities, logistics and warehouse management of our client. You'll manage day to day site operations, drive continuous improvement, maintain compliance, and support the success of international programs.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee facilities operations, warehouse activities, logistics planning and export compliance
Supervise and develop warehouse and maintenance staff
Manage contractors, HSE obligations, building maintenance and refurbishments
Champion safety, security and ISO compliance standards
Maintain stock accuracy, cost control, performance metrics and reporting
Liaise with global teams to support customer shipments and international programs
Manage facility budgets, audits, alarms and incident responses
About You
Proven experience in both facilities/warehousing management and logistics operations or supply chain operations
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams
Knowledge of import and export controls and ISO accreditation requirements
Experience working with SAP S/4HANA or MILIS
Forklift licence (or willingness and ability to obtain)
Excellent communication, problem-solving and organisational capability
Requirements
Onsite role - must have reliable transport
Australian citizenship essential
Ability to hold or obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance - Baseline
