Due to expansion, a highly important role for a surface finisher/ spray painter is available to join their business. This role is crucial for their continued success as a No.1 MRO in the region.

The role:

• Manage a wide range of paint preparation duties
• Thermal spray quality check, following standards and work instructions
• Check paint quality, inspect components and follow work instructions and drawings
• Manage documentation and administer ERP

Requirements:

• Cert III Surface Preparations and Coating Applications
• Cert IV Aeroskills (Mech) would be ideal
• Good working knowledge of paint technologies and standards
• Ideally, experience in aviation painting
• Australian Citizenship

Candidates who hold some of the above requirements should apply. Candidates who have worked in the automotive industry and have CERT III qualifications in automotive refinishing technologies should apply. Due to the nature of the work, candidates who have welding, boilermaker or machinist experience would be ideal. Candidates who have experience working with thermal spray technology will be highly regarded.
