Contracts Manager
- Review all contracts prior to execution to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Develop and implement contract management procedures, including guidance on commercial options and contract interpretations.
- Manage contract changes, variations and dispute resolution activities post-execution.
- Coordinate and track concurrent contract change activities post‑execution.
- Manage procurements through the full lifecycle, including endorsement, approach to market, funding commitment, evaluation, negotiation and contract execution.
- Draft procurement documentation such as pre‑ and post‑tender approval papers, evaluation plans and negotiation plans including Australian Standard for Defence Contracting (ASDEFCON) Suites of Templates for complex non-materiel acquisitions.
- Coordinate procurement activity with industry providers and other relevant stakeholders.
- Identify procurement requirements early by working closely with project managers and program directors to establish procurement plans.
- Ensure that all procurement activities comply with CPRs, Australian law and Defence policies and procedures.
- Liaise with Defence stakeholders and industry partners.
- Work collaboratively with project managers, program directors and external providers to facilitate procurement and contracting activities.
