Cyber Security Lead (SOC)

We're partnering with a specialised business unit within a major defence prime that offers expert digital and cybersecurity consulting and delivery services to the defence industry in Australia and with Australia's security partners around the globe.

We are supporting recruitment with a key hire for the business in a Cyber Security Lead role. In this role, you will work with customers across the defence/NIC industry designing and delivering specialised SOC solutions at the Top Secret level. You will be involved in the end to end process directly with customers from pre-sales and requirements gathering to delivery, testing and aftercare. In this process, you will take control of design and delivery by leading teams of consultants and architects, making sure solutions are fit for purpose.

What we're looking for:

  • An active TSPV (Top Secret Positive Vetting) security clearance is an absolute must.
  • Experience in building and leading delivery for cyber security solutions, particularly within cyber operations and SOC environments.
  • An in-depth knowledge of the cyber security and SOC product landscape, with a core knowledge across AWS and Azure security solutions.
  • A background in SIEM and analytics platforms, with experience in onboarding organisations onto a SOC. Knowledge of Splunk and Sentinel is much appreciated.
  • Strong skills across client and stakeholder relationship management.
  • An understanding of ITSM (IT service management).
