Kinexus are partnering with a world leading defence organisation who are seeking an experienced Electronics Technician to join the team on a full time basis, based in Adelaide.

About the role:

We are looking for an Electronics Technician as an integral member of the team to facilitate the delivery of on-site support services to the Commonwealth focusing on the maintenance of a wide range of communications and radar products.

What will I be doing day to day?
  • Provide advice, guidance and knowledge transfer to Army operators and technicians
  • Conduct, record, and report maintenance activities
  • Conduct heavy grade repairs
  • Provide overflow assistance to light and medium grade repairs
  • Provide an overflow preventive maintenance capability in accordance with the maintenance programme
  • Provide advice on technical publication updates
To be successful in this role and to best leverage the opportunities provided, some skills & experience ideal applicants will bring include;
  • Minimum 5 years of commercial or military experience in maintenance and operation of complex electronic systems
  • Experience with working within a technical team in off-site locations
  • Experience with system level fault finding for complex systems
  • Experience with test equipment required for maintaining complex systems including: oscilloscope, multimeter and spectrum analyser
  • Associate Diploma/Trade qualifications in Electronics trade
  • Must be an Australian Citizen and hold a current NV1 Defence clearance
