We have a position available for an Electronics Technician to be based in the ACT. This is a key position on the team to support a diverse number of technologies in Defence, Government and Commercial areas.
Our client is seeking candidates with significant experience in modern digital communications systems, including one or more of the following: RF Communications, RADAR, SONAR, Combat Systems, and Battlespace Land Communication domains.
The Role:
- Act as an SME in your trade stream
- Act as a POC for internal and external stakeholders
- Identification, development, evaluation and recommendation of Installation, maintenance and repair of RF equipment
- Optimise signal quality, calibrate equipment
- Diagnosing faults, repairing, troubleshoot circut issues
- Test and repair to the specified requirements
- Undertaker reliability assessments
- Provide subject matter expert advice
Experience Required:
- CERT IV in Communications, Electronics, or Electrical
- Experience in training and or instruction would be good
- Client management experience
- Experience in maintenance and repair of RF technology
- Demonstrated ability to identify, resolve and manage Security issues.
- Experience in defence digital in-service systems
- Must hold a current NV1 security clearance
