We're seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join our clients hardware team based in Mawson Lakes.

This role involves prototype development as part of a larger EW program. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in Defence Systems Engineering, with a focus on hardware integration and testing.

The highlights

• 8 Month Contract, potential to extend
• Based at Mawson Lakes, Adelaide
• NV1 Security Clearance

Key Responsibilities

• Lead systems engineering activities across requirements, design, integration, verification, and validation for hardware and software prototypes.
• Support design definition, development, and integration of complex systems
• Develop test procedures and support verification and validation in a prototype environment.
• Maintain system documentation, configuration management, and reporting.
• Participate in design reviews and collaborate with Defence stakeholders and industry partners.

Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronic, or Mechanical) or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated experience in hardware/software integration, design, and verification.
• Previous exposure to prototype development or early-phase system design preferred.
• Experience with Defence Systems Engineering tools and processes (DOORS)
• NV1 Clearance
