We're supporting a well-known Defence systems and software engineering organisation to bring on Technical Administrators to support an in-house data and software capability.

This is an ideal opportunity for recent graduates or ADF leavers who want to stay connected to industry and build meaningful experience.

You should have experience or an interest in engineering, maths, analysis or research.

You'll gain exposure to Defence platforms across air, land and maritime domains, while contributing to a system that supports real-world decision making.

In brief:

• Contract position, starting in April and running until EOFY initially (potential to extend)
• CBD office, hybrid working available. Adelaide or Canberra locations
• Security clearance required (Baseline minimum, NV1 preferred)
• Ideal for graduates (engineering, maths, physics) or those who have recently discharged from ADF

Responsibilities

• Conduct research across open-source information to gather data on Defence platforms and systems
• Identify and validate hard-to-find technical information (e.g. specifications, dimensions, equipment)
• Input, process and structure data within a custom-built software platform
• Support the production of data outputs and reports used for decision-making
• Continuously build your understanding of Defence systems and operational context
• Use internal tools and workflows to transform raw information into high-quality datasets

While this role does not require an engineering qualification, an interest in engineering, maths, analysis or research is essential.
