We're supporting a Defence program with a contract opportunity for an experienced pricing specialist to support upcoming bid and tender activities.

This role will play a critical part in shaping pricing submissions, ensuring cost models are robust, compliant, and commercially competitive.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate operational and technical inputs into structured pricing strategies.

We're targeting a senior professional who can operate independently, navigate complex procurement documentation, and provide trusted commercial guidance throughout the bid lifecycle.

What you'll be doing:

• Interpret tender documentation to develop compliant, competitive pricing strategies
• Develop and maintain detailed cost and financial models
• Perform scenario and sensitivity analysis to test pricing viability
• Ensure compliance with ASDEFCON and Commonwealth Procurement Rules
• Identify pricing risks and recommend mitigation strategies
• Collaborate with stakeholders and support bid submissions and clarifications

What we're looking for:

• Experience working in pricing, commercial, or cost modelling roles within Defence or Commonwealth tender environments
• Strong familiarity with Defence procurement frameworks and contract structures
• Demonstrated experience developing complex financial and service delivery cost models
• Experience supporting bid development or major tender submissions
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability with excellent attention to detail
• Ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and influence stakeholders
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
