Naval Sector Contract Opportunities
Kinexus are seeking contractor support across the following disciplines:
Systems Engineering
Systems Safety Engineering
ILS Management
Data/Configuration Management
Systems Engineering
a) Coordinate the Commonwealth assurance of the Acceptance Test and Evaluation effort for capabilities under acquisition
b) Maintain traceability and evidence of requirement verification within relational database systems (DOORS)
c) Document any failures and non-conformances during the validation phase of the project and coordinate remediation plans to meet the specified requirements
d) Conduct and/or assist risk assessments including, the identification and tracking of major risks
e) Conduct reviews of engineering change proposals and contract deliverables
Systems Safety Engineering
a) Lead the development of the Safety Case and supporting artefacts for capabilities being delivered to Navy
b) Coordinate across the delivery programs to ensure consistent approach to Systems Safety
c) Coordinate across enterprise organisations and groups to ensure the project safety documentation and supporting evidence and artefacts are shared and updated between stakeholders
d) Provide advice and guidance on system safety engineering analysis techniques, processes, and assurance necessary for design and implementation
e) Assess and evaluate performance against agreed plans and implement strategies to achieve required outcomes
f) Initiate resolution of issues by identifying and developing solutions through analysis of alternative courses of action and their implications
g) Interpret and ensure compliance with legislative, policy and regulatory frameworks
h) Review engineering change proposals and contract deliverables
i) Provision of guidance and mentoring to Project team members
ILS Management
a) Provision of Integrated Logistics Support, Logistics Support Analysis, Technical Data, Configuration Management and on-boarding advice, assistance and oversight; including analysis, definition, planning, acquisition, transition, in-service management, sustainment, asset management, and disposal
b) Provision of guidance and mentoring to Project team members
c) Engage with stakeholders to ensure alignment on matters related to operational milestones
d) Review engineering change proposals and contract deliverables
Configuration/Data Management
a) Perform complex technical configuration activities and associated tasks working to agreed priorities and outcomes
b) Demonstrate and apply knowledge and experience to develop and review technical packages
c) Apply technical knowledge and experience to identify risks and uncertainties and take these into account in planning, decision making and priority setting
d) Access technical packages, reports, processes and product and equipment performance to meet specified requirements, provide recommendations for continuous improvement and implement corrective actions
e) Ensure technical data integrity is adequate and transition to operations and sustainment environments
f) Provide technical advice to delivery executives
g) Engage with stakeholders to ensure alignment on matters related to operational milestones
h) Review contract deliverables
