ABOUT THIS ROLE
A Project Support Officer is required to work within Strategic Initiatives / Global Powers and Counter Cybercrime / Australian Cyber Security Centre to support the program and provide administrative and financial support for a range of technically orientated projects and diverse stakeholders.

Extension term: 12 months

Working arrangements: Hybrid. Part time (3 days per week). The candidate MUST be an Australian Citizen. Candidates must be willing to undergo ASD's Organisational Suitability Assessment (OSA) prior to engagement. Candidates must have an active NV1 Security Clearance. ASD will not sponsor candidates to upgrade their security clearances in order to apply for the role.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assisting with program and project planning, and drafting of program artefacts.
- Supporting management of SI's budget and procurement activity, and providing financial advice and guidance to GPCC.
- Supporting program reporting and preparing program management dashboards, reporting processes and artefacts.
- Assisting with general administrative tasks to define and maintain registers, access controls and quality processes.
- Record management of program artefacts ensuring all program artefacts are entered into the Electronic Document and Records Management System (EDRMS).
- Maintaining program and project risk register(s), including scheduling regular reviews and updates; and facilitating risk meetings.
- Investigate issues of medium complexity and produce related briefs for SES officer consumption.
- Preparation of governance packs for program and project boards and conduct as board secretariat.
- Demonstrated administration and organisational skills within Defence's Desktop Environments.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Suite (MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint, MS Visio) which is necessary for the creation of visually and verbally engaging reports for the various assigned departmental heads, management and stakeholders.
- Attention to detail in delivering timely, accurate work.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to employ a variety of tailored communication skills (verbal and written).
- Excellent work ethic, able to self-manage and progress tasks independently.
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
- The extent to which the candidate demonstrates the ability to perform the Job Duties and Responsibilities set out in the RFQ.
- The extent to which the candidate meets the Job Skills and Qualifications set out in the RFQ.
- The degree to which the Response complies with the draft Work Order attached to the RFQ.
- Australian Citizenship and a NV1 security clearance is essential
