We currently have a position available for a Systems Engineer (Level 2/3) to be based in Canberra. This is a key position on the team for a major project(s) that is delivering real capability to Government Agencies. The successful candidate will, as a Systems Engineer, join a team in a very busy and dynamic engineering environment. The opportunity to work on challenging and rewarding Defence and Government work cannot be missed. The projects requires candidates with experience in the full engineering lifecycle. The role is critical to the end user's ability to meet current and future needs.
The Role:
- Elicit/refine / document requirements
- Enforce design, system and specifications as required
- Plan, document, and execute Verification and Validation activities
- Liaise with stakeholders
- Identify project and product risks and escalate using defined processes
- Initiate, recommend or provide solutions through designated channels
Experience Required:
- A degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering
- C4ISR/C2/RADAR systems
- A track record in ASDEFCON
- Traceable history in Systems Engineering
- Extensive experience in specialised engineering test techniques
- Strong V&V experience
- End to end Design experience
- A high level of technical expertise and the application of that knowledge
- Strong Communications skills
- Must have a current Secret Security Clearance
