Our client is seeking a Project Manager to join their team. They are a world class Air Traffic Control, ISR, Avionics, Simulation and communications engineering OEM. Candidates will join a team who are committed to delivering high-end technology systems to the warfighter. The successful applicant will join the Management Team, providing mentoring, strategic leadership and advice on multiple projects and the engineering end to end lifecycle.

Experience Required:

• A traceable track record in Project delivery
• Experience in delivering high-end engineering technical systems.
• Proven Project end to end experience and delivery
• Proven Stakeholder engagement and management
• Broad engineering experience based in product development
• Experience in mentoring and supporting engineering teams
• Management of the Project Schedule
• A high level of ASDEFCON experience would be beneficial
• Coord work packages
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Business/budgetary experience or an appointment with P&L responsibilities
• Experience in Contract Management and Administration
• Applicant MUST be eligible for a Defence security clearance (Australian Citizen)

This position would ideally suit applicants with experience in complex automation and voice comms systems. Candidates with a strong technical background with extensive experience in demanding leadership and management appointments would suit this role. Managers with a high level of experience in product development through testing and commissioning should apply.
