Job Title: Program & Security Coordinator

What do you actually do?

I essentially wear two hats. 1. I work as our security officer, managing our cleared staff. 2. I work as a program coordinator for The Future Through Collaboration (TFTC), which is a mentoring program for women in the defence industry. I work directly with the participants of the program to ensure they are getting the most out of the program.

 

What kinds areas of the business do you support?

I mainly support our security functions and processes, but I am always happy to put my hand up and help the team wherever needed.

 

What's one thing you care about getting right for the people you work with?

I really care about creating a space where everyone feels included and supported.

 

How did you get here?

Prior to Kinexus I was working as an Operations Officer. I have a degree in Communications, majoring in Human Resource Management.

 

Something people might not know?

Outside of work, I love to read and spend time with my friends and family. I recently got my open water diving certificate, so I have been dabbling in that too.
